Enough already. Time to get up, get the bathing suit on and take advantage of this area that I have been blessed to come to one last time. Gotta go make some new memories and tell Sophia some tales about long long ago when Big Daddy,Memommie, Uncle Chris and her Mommy, laughed, played in the white sugar sand ate seafood like it was our last meal and shared our love for one another here at this most beloved and magical area that will always be in my heart due to all of the beautiful memories. It's Okay
“She understands now what she, in all her worry, had forgotten.
That even as she hesitates and wavers,
even as she thinks too much
and moves too cautiously,
she doesn't always have to get it right.
It's okay to look back, even as you move forward.”

'The Misadventures of Linda Lane and Company'
Woke up this am in beautiful Blue Mountain Beach, Florida. Sanctuary by the Sea is a lovely small complex right on Santa Rosa Beach and Red-fish Lake, with a natural dune and wild life area. This condo is amazing. I have to admit that it is much larger then I imagined and it is decorated like a very luxurious hotel. How ever...I have found that my age has definitely caught up with my knowledge of modern appliances. Everything here is the very latest gadget that has been made to include the coffee maker. I got up early like normal, was gonna get the Java going and sit on the wonderful balcony in a lounge chair and watch the morning roll in off the ocean. Wrong................it is now 3 hours later and I am sipping coffee on the couch, which taste lousy by the way, and recuperating from frustration, cleaning up messes from the retarded Cuisinart and watching it rain. I never got to the balcony. I can not turn on the magnitude of electronic equipment featured in this condo, it does not compute. Also the Viking stove, refrigerator and separate ice-maker in the bar area are definitely not self explainable and I don't think you can get on line and look up how to operate those like we did for the Cuisinart and the washer and dryers, this was because Amy was quick on her toes and thought to do that. So the moral to this sad tale is if you want to know how old you have become visit a place where all the modern conveniences are up to date, your age will definitely peek through.
Amy went out for a walk and to check out the area and said that it is very nice. The beach is not peaceful due to the police and workers preparing for the deluge of oil that is quickly making it way to this once beautiful and serene coast. Our family fell in love with Fort Walton Beach many years ago after Curt had came to the area for a water safety course for TVA. He couldn't wait to get back home to tell us about the quaint fishing village called Destin! Needless to say we vacationed here that following summer and every opportunity after that. I am so angry that money hungry developers have robbed us of the beautiful coastline that we could once drive down and see the ocean, natural dunes and sea oats. The oil company has now caused a senseless tragedy that will be having terrible lasting effects on the natural resources that were once so abundant in the gulf.

Enough already. Time to get up, get the bathing suit on and take advantage of this area that I have been blessed to come to one last time. 'There is a time to speak up, and a time to be silent. A time to read and a time to write. A time to learn and a time to teach. A time to listen and a time to be heard. A time to lose and a time to gain. And for all of these things the time is now'. God Bless. LSJL
